With aim of “Beti Padhao Desh Badhao” The OM Foundation Charitable Trust (Regd.) is conducting OM Pathshala for the girls of underprivileged families since 2011. In 2014 Prime Minister Narendra Modi started campaign “Beti Bachao – Beti Padhao” to save girl infanticide and provide education to girls throughout the country.
Under “Beti Bachao- Beti Padhao campaign thousands of girls have been helped and educated by the trust since then. These girls are helped in every way possible, by giving them classes,school fees, school books, uniforms or school bags. Their health and hygiene is also taken care while supporting them.
There are million of adolescent girls in India who are targets of Gender sensitization, early marriage, early pregnancy, domestic violence and malnutrition problems. Students of OM Pathshala are prepared through all round physical, intellectual, academic, mental and spiritual development based on values derived from our VEDIC PHILOSOPHY.
Chairperson, Suryaputry Rashmi Malhotra says that Foundation prepares our students to become mature and responsible citizens of society. We not only help them to get good results academically but build their character for good living and Nation building.
She says Girls who receive an education are less likely to marry young and more likely to lead healthy, productive lives. They earn higher incomes, participate in the decisions that most affect them, and build better futures for themselves and their families. Girls’ education strengthens economies and reduces inequality.
Therefore every girl child should be educated for a progressive Nation.
