Relief of Rashan in Pandemic Lockdown by Warrior Rashmi Malhotra

Noval Corona virus has hit the world in big way. We are seeing the worse effects of this pandemic throughout the world everyday. Governments are doing their best to fight against this unseen enemy. In India Corona virus has taken many lives and due to lockdown thousands of poor are fighting for their survival at home and many are separated from their families and stranded at different places.
Daily wagers, labourers, ricksha pullers,women workers,widows,seniors without families are facing the burnt of this virus as lack of money and food. At this time of great need The OM Foundation Charitable Trust and it’s Chairperson Rashmi Malhotra has come up as a warrior to help it’s needy fellow citizens. Smt. Malhotra prepares bags of packed food of 2kg rice, 2 kg pulse, 1kg sugar, salt, some spices, cooking oil and soaps at her home to distribute among the clusters of Naraina Vihar, Delhi where the children of OM Pathshala are living with their very poor families. Trust is providing them rashan in this great need of time as support.
Smt. Malhotra herself goes out every day to other needy also, she says her major concern is for the women who are living and earning alone for their children and widows who have no support. She gives rashan to any needy who calls her on her cell. During outdoor visits all norms of corona precautions are taken like wearing face mask, hand gloves and social distacing.
