International Women’s Day is celebrated every year to honor women and girls across the globe. The OM Foundation also celebrates it every year to support the message of improving health and well being of all women.

This year we celebrated it in a very different way. We organised “Hair Styling” event on 9th March 2024 in association with Varun Attri Academy ,who is famous for his hair styling. Girls who belong to underprivileged families were given beautiful hair cuts to bring good look and confidence in them. Most of the family earnings of these families are spent on other household works, many hidden demands of these girls remain unattended. Therefore in wake of fulfilling their inner desires to look beautiful like others, I organised this program. No matter how much women prefer to lean, to be protected and supported ,they must know their individuality.

And the result was so good that every girl was very happy and looked Bold & Beautiful after completion of the hair cutting and drying. Miss Preet , co-ordinator of Acedemy was honored by the chairperson with a memento to welcome her on the Women’s Day. All girls were given beautiful Hair Bands and pencil boxes. Snacks were also distributed after the program.
