Excursion Tour to War Memorial, India Gate & Patiala House Court – New Delhi
The Om Foundation successfully completed its 10th excursion tour !
Our children had a memorable day filled with learning, fun, and inspiration. They sang patriotic songs in the bus on their way and enjoyed lunch on the lush lawns of India gate and played games under the open sky.
The visit to the National War Memorial was a touching tribute to our brave soldiers. Children learned about the Amar Jawan Jyoti, stories of valor, and the sacrifices made by our heroes in uniform.
At Patiala House Court, they got a glimpse into the world of justice and law. Chairperson Rashmi Malhotra was welcomed by Hon’ble Magistrate Mr. Rahul Kumar, Secretary, NDLSA, graciously. Sir interacted with the children—encouraging them to be responsible citizens, pursue education, and aim to become protectors of the law. Children were greeted with snacks by the court staff.
Rashmi Malhotra said that children learn faster through excursion tours as their mind opens up in out door activities. During excursion tours they have fun while sight seeing, learn teamwork while playing games, learn good behavior while eating and walking together, build creative expression while singing, dancing or storytelling, increase observation skills while interacting with guides etc. These activities help children develop confidence, social skills, curiosity and physical fitness.
It was A day full of inspiration, patriotism, and purpose!
