Breast Cancer Awareness Month of October 2024…..Congratulations to The OM Foundation Charitable Trust on successful Breast Cancer and Cervical cancer  screening and Mammography Camp , held in Patiala house court New Delhi in association with New Delhi District legal Services Authority on 26th October 2024 in the premises of Patiala House Court New Delhi where Hundred of Advocates and judges got themselves screened in the camp.

 Dr. Shashi Rakheja , senior Gynae & consultant of preventive Oncology and Mr. Gagandeep and his team from Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute New Delhi, participated in the camp. Mrs. Kavita Virmani, Director , Rotary Club of Cama Place and Mr. Rajneesh Virmani arranged for the Mammography Van where free mammograms were done.

 In the camp mouth cancer screening, pap-smear test , BP and random sugar tests were conducted. Mammography for breast screening of females was done in the mobile Mammography Van.

Mr. Vimal kumar Yadav , Honorable Principal Session Magistrate of Patiala House court and president of New Delhi Legal Services Authority, inaugurated the camp. He along with Mr. Kumar Rahul Secretary New Delhi District legal Services Authority, Patiala House Court welcomed Rashmi Malhotra , Chairperson of The OM Foundation, Dr. Shashi Rakhija and Mrs. Kavita Virmani with memento and fresh potted plants.

Mr. Vimal highly appreciated the efforts of Rashmi Malhotra for being so actively involved in creating awareness of Breast Cancer among women though she is running under her own cancer treatment. He complimented her by saying, “You are a true Cancer- Warrior.”
