The OM Foundation Charitable Trust organised its second Free Cancer Screening Camp at Patiala House Court, in collaboration with Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute, on the kind invitation of Mr. Kumar Rahul, Secretary NDLSA.

We were honoured by the presence of Chief Guest Sh. Virender Kumar Bansal, Principal District & Sessions Judge, and Sh. Pitamber Dutt, Principal Judge Family Court. Chairperson Ms. Rashmi Malhotra and Mr. Gagandeep warmly welcomed the dignitaries with auspicious Rudraksh garlands and Angvastra.

 Highlights of the Camp:

 Dr. Shashi, Senior Oncology Specialist (RGCI), led the screening with:

 Pap Smear Tests

 Breast Self-Examinations

 Mammography via Mobile Mammo Bus

 Oral Cancer Screenings

Hundreds of advocates and staff of the judicial court took advantage of this camp and got free screenings done. Chairperson, Rashmi Malhotra advised every one to get screenings done timely because Early Detection of Cancer can save precious life . She also emphasized on changing life style and lead a healthy stress free life. Dr. Shashi also said that if cancer is detetected in later stages the treatment gets extensive and survival rate also reduces.
